Through membership, we provide our members with the advanced tools, resources, and coaching they need to achieve the highest standards in the industry. Beyond membership, we strive to positively influence the greater dance industry by creating unique educational opportunities for all.
Who are the MTJGD Certified Coaches™?
MTJGD Certified Coaches™ help to bring the MTJGD™ vision and mission to studios all around the globe. Through presentations, workshops, writing, and coaching, our coaches provide education and training for our 300 More Than Just Great Dancing!® studios. MTJGD Certified Coaches™ are experts in specific areas of the studio business such as leadership, enrollment, programs, finance, and more!
MTJGD Certified Coaches™ are trained by industry leader Misty Lown to represent MTJGD™, teaching best practices in business. Coaches complete a rigorous certification program and ongoing professional development.

Who is Misty Lown?
Misty Lown is the founder and energized force behind More Than Just Great Dancing!® (MTJGD™), which has a positive impact on more than 100,000 dance students worldwide each week. Studio Training Solutions™, powered by MTJGD™, was founded by Misty Lown as a hub for all studio owners to engage with professional development, resources, vendor connections, and inspiration!
Misty’s sky-high energy is rooted in a passion for education and grassroots charitable giving. Her studio, Misty’s Dance Unlimited, founded in 1998, has provided over $500,000 in combined cash and studio scholarships through its 501(c) 3 non-profit, A Chance to Dance Foundation.
As an industry leader, coach, and sought-after keynote speaker, Misty shares her methods of creating a professional studio environment, where people learn and grow from the life experiences lived through dance. Her speaking engagements have included the Dance Teacher Web, National Dance Educators Organization, Tennessee Association of Dance Professionals, Dance Revolution, REVEL, Adrenaline, Thrive, guiDANCE, Hope College Dance Department, University of Alabama Dance Department, MSA Talent Agency, PULSE Teachers Convention, Hollywood Connection, Dance Teacher Summit, and the DanceLife Teacher Conference.
